I saw that the creator was working on an update of the game so I suggest some of my ideas that I would love to see on this game:
- introduce more unforeseen expenses (scandal, technical unforeseen events)
- limit the budget, because from season 3 we already have enough money to win the contest and after this season we always win more which reduces the attractiveness of the game
- add a system of influence on the votes (lobbying, targeted promotion, maybe proposals to corrupt the votes by arranging with a country, obvious risk of being spotted or not, the same for betting, having the choice of financing a lot of money on his country to increase his popularity)
- the choice of taking a star of the country which would obviously cost a lot
- maybe being able to implement a board of directors of the heads of delegation or new rules would be put in place or rules removed
- an option that allows to see the popularity of the song through its streamings, can be the same radio broadcast, popularity rate of the song in their country and internationally, OGAE ranking
- develop more in-depth national selections
- more strategic decisions that can influence the rating of our song, register of the song (ballad, pop, rock, ethnic, humorous), date of revelation, staging (minimalist, wacky, pyrotechnic, crazy, car, piano), song in national language or English, positive or negative events, for example song criticized in the press, plagiarism, viral on tiktok
- perhaps modify the rating system which offers too predictable winners (by taking up the bookmaker odds system perhaps)
- addition of a weekly newspaper of the Eurovision season where the news of the week will be revealed (for this it would be necessary to make a progress report every week), in this newspaper could be put scandals perhaps even between heads of delegation which would impact the vote between countries, or even geopolitical tensions, accusations of plagiarism, interviews with the head of delegation, artist, or even jury who can give the trend of the juries this year, for example a jury expresses its weariness of sad songs
I don't know if all this is feasible on such a game but it's more or less the ideas that I can gather now, but for me the central point is really to improve the management of the budget, which is for me too easy and quite useless from season 3
I mean, like the participants of the real Eurovision of the past years. I would like to see, for example, Twin Twin (France 2014) at the selection of France
